CitizenPass is an AI-assisted study app built to help permanent residents prepare for the Canadian citizenship test with confidence. We translate the official IRCC Discover Canada guide into modern, mobile-first study tools — practice questions, mock exams, lessons, an AI coach, and ceremony-day preparation — so applicants know exactly what to expect on test day and on the day they take the oath.

Our mission

Becoming a Canadian citizen is one of the most meaningful steps in a newcomer's life. The test itself shouldn't be the part that stands in the way. Our mission is simple: make passing the Canadian citizenship test on the first try feel achievable for every eligible permanent resident — regardless of language background, study habits, or how long it's been since they were last in a classroom.

We do that by combining the official IRCC source material with modern study techniques (spaced repetition, mastery tracking, instant AI-generated explanations) and by keeping the core experience free — you can take real practice tests on day one without paying a cent.

CitizenPass is operated by LiaWeb, a small Canadian software studio. We started CitizenPass after watching family and friends struggle to find a single, trustworthy place to prepare for the citizenship test — most existing resources were outdated, region-specific, or hidden behind paywalls.

We're a tiny team. Every line of content is reviewed against the latest IRCC guidance, every question is sourced from the official Discover Canada guide, and every change ships fast — usually within days of any IRCC policy update.
